Dr. Tim Ioannides, founder of Treasure Coast Dermatology, has been working with individuals in Florida’s Treasure Coast for over 15 years. Initially, Dr. Ioannides opened one individual medical practice.
Now, after years of demonstrating exemplary service to his patients and good decisions in business, Tim Ioannides has grown the practice to include five fully successful offices.
Dr. Tim Ioannides received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Following his medical school graduation, Dr. Ioannides traveled to Gainesville, Florida to complete an exceptionally comprehensive medical internship at the University of Florida School of Medical Health Science Center. From there he returned to Miami to execute a rigorous residency in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital under the tutelage of the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Dr. Tim Ioannides is now a Board Certified Dermatologist who is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for MOHS Surgery, as well as the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
Upon entering the private sector, Dr. Tim Ioannides made the decision to work with another physician whose practice was generally focused on cosmetic dermatological services. It did not take Dr. Tim Ioannides long to realize that his passion for medicine lay in a fundamental proactive approach and the medically-based side of dermatology, including treatment of skin cancer, tumors, and other skin conditions. This was the motivation that drove him to open Treasure Coast Dermatology, where he now diagnoses, provides an array of treatments, and focuses on medically-based dermatological procedures. A few of the things that set Treasure Coast Dermatology apart include the fact that Dr. Tim Ioannides personally sees each patient on every visit, he does not use electronic charting, and he truly feels that he needs to connect with a patient in order to best be able to treat them. While paper charting seems a complete throwback to several decades ago, Dr. Tim Ioannides feels that it allows him to make more eye contact with the patient instead of a computer screen and provides a feeling of a higher level of presence for everyone involved.
